What Computo NX does
- Official price lists, all of them. Over 500 price lists (533 at the time of writing) for every Italian region — regional, provincial and Chamber of Commerce lists, specialised lists — with more than 6.5 million items kept up to date. The item catalogue has full-text search and category filters.
- The bill of quantities is born from the documents. Drag a file into the AI assistant’s chat and the items are extracted and mapped to the chosen price list: from an estimate or specification PDF, from a DXF/DWG drawing (with bar schedule and reinforcement weight), from a photo or scan of a technical drawing, from a BIM IFC model (element import with 3D preview), from an Excel file of an existing bill. Or describe the works in natural language and the AI proposes the items.
- Measurement book with partial formulas (e.g. 5 × 4 × 0.30) and automatic totals for each item.
- Cost summary, complete and professional: construction costs, safety charges, technical fees, VAT.
- Custom price lists (with a GeoDropbox subscription): price with your own supplier lists and historical prices, read in real time.
- Exports: formatted PDF, Excel and XPWE, the interchange format read by the main Italian bill-of-quantities and accounting programs, to hand the bill to the contractor or the authority without retyping it.
- Reuse: previous bills are imported and updated to the new price list without starting over.

- Drag the project’s PDF, DXF, photo or IFC into the AI chat — or describe the works.
- The AI extracts the items, matches them to the price list and fills the bill; the catalogue is there to add or replace items by hand.
- Review quantities and measurements in the book, check the charges.
- Export to PDF, Excel or XPWE. The bill stays saved and can be reopened, duplicated and updated.
