BIM for Geotechnics and Geology: The GeoStru team is working at full pace to provide customers with the best solutions in Building Information Modeling (BIM). BIM has revolutionized the way architects and engineers work, and it also offers significant advantages in the field of geotechnics and geology.
Work Methodology
Those who use GeoStru software know they have been interoperable for a long time: from processing survey data, you can move to the geological and geotechnical models, and then continue with the structural model. This allows Geostru’s customers to collaborate with each other without the need to gather data from multiple, often unclear reports. In the context of BIM, we have improved the interoperability technique by adopting standard transition files specified by BIM standards such as AGS and IFC, enabling collaboration among different parties involved in design, not necessarily GeoStru users.
Improved Collaboration
BIM also means sharing and collaboration among professionals involved in a project. To facilitate the work of geotechnical engineers, geologists, architects, structural engineers, and monitoring studies, we have developed the shared platform Geodropbox. Geodropbox allows you to: store, view, and share project documents in real time. Geodropbox enables the viewing of IFC files and the creation and visualization of numerical models. Geostru has integrated Geodropbox into its software, which means that files processed with our software will be automatically geolocated and archived.
Integration with Geographic Data
In addition to the described features, Geodropbox allows the management of geographic data such as maps, stratigraphy, surveys, and other spatial information related to buildings and general works. Geodropbox enables the integration of BIM and GIS to connect geographic data with the structure for comprehensive informational management of structures and works in general.
Geobuild
Accelerate the design process with GeoStru’s GeoBuild GeoStru: the future for civil engineering, geotechnics, geology, hydrogeology, and hydraulics.
Design in the field of civil engineering and geotechnics requires a combination of precision, innovation, and interoperability. That’s why we have developed the GeoBuild suite, a set of cutting-edge tools that simplify design and enhance efficiency in managing complex projects. With advanced features, BIM integration, and a wide range of specialized applications, GeoStru programs represent the future of technical software, opening up new horizons for engineers, geologists, and hydrogeologists.
